On Wednesday, July 1st at 10:00 am we will be presenting grants to the local community. Please join us for a brief presentation.
On Thursday, July 2nd we will have Grand Opening Festivities beginning at 8:00 am.

Associates have already gotten involved in the local community, including sponsoring events for members of the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. “They’ve jumped right in to become part of our local business community. We take the Sam’s Club opening as a huge positive for our part of Brevard County. We appreciate their confidence in us and our community,” said Melissa Stains, president/CEO of the Chamber. The new 136,447-square-foot Club will feature a wide variety of merchandise that reflects the growing diversity among warehouse club shoppers. Business, Advantage and Collegiate members looking for ways to save in today’s economy will find exceptional values on products from electronics to fresh produce and $4 generic prescriptions. “More and more people turn to Sam’s Club to help them save money in this tight economy,” said Club Manager Tony Street. “Small-business owners, families and even college students are finding that their money goes further here.”

!! NEW SUMMER PROMOTION !!

We know Partners doing business with Partners first is working… BUT …we want to spice it up!

So we are going to run a summer promotion: June-August 31, 2009. Here’s how it works!

1. Each Board member from the Chamber, BBDC, CVB, MAC , the Chamber staff, and our wonderful Ambassadors will receive 30 stickers to place on the back of their business card that states: “I’m here because you are a Valued Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Partner.” As these Partners frequent CBACC Partners they will leave their business card.

2. Each receiving partner will save the cards they receive and turn them in to the Chamber main office by September 7, 2009.

3. The Chamber Partner who receives the most cards will win a month “Feature” on the home page of the CBACC website.

4. There will also be two drawings with all “Valued-Partner cards” combined. Each winner from these drawings will receive either an ad on the Membership Page or Calendar Page for one month FREE.

5. The Partner who distributes the MOST “Valued –Partner cards” will receive a Gift certificate worth $25.00.

We are using a controlled group to start this promotion but all Partners will benefit!

Start looking for those “Valued-Partner cards” next week and be sure to save them and turn them into the Chamber’s Merritt Island office.
