Chamber Announces Business of the Year Award Winners
 The Better Business Development Council of the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce presented its Business of the Year Awards to four (4) area companies at its 19th Annual Banquet on Friday, August 17th, at the DoubleTree Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Hotel, Cocoa Beach.

Service Industry – Justin Kadtke, Community Resource Systems, Inc.; and Technical/Manufacturing – Chris Lewis and Patty Lambert, Richard's Paint Mfg. Co., Inc.; Non-For-Profit – Roy Wright, Cape Canaveral Hospital; and Minority Owned – Aili Melton, In-Design Studio.
Over 200 chamber members, their families and friends regaled in the event’s theme “Shining Stars of Brevard”. Hosted by Dr. James A. Drake of Brevard Community College, the program included festively decorated tables, and live entertainment by Space Coast Party Productions. All nominees for the awards were recognized. Representatives of the banquet’s major sponsors made presentations to the winners.
Winners in four business-size categories were: Minority Owned - In-Design Studio; Non-For-Profit - Cape Canaveral Hospital; Service Industry - Community Resource Systems, Inc.; and Technical/Manufacturing - Richard's Paint Mfg. Co., Inc.
