Convention & Visitors Bureaus Area of Focus and Objectives
The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is the resource for the tourism industry that is so vital to our community. They sponsor the popular Chowder Cook-off in February. Members also travel throughout the state and nation, promoting the Space Coast to travel professionals, meeting and convention planners, and the general public. It also operates visitor centers in the central Brevard County area, as well as fulfilling almost 60,000 requests annually for visitor/relocation information. The CVB also hosts quarterly "Morning Mingles" and "Power Lunches" for members and prospective members. Membership is open to all Partners.

Mission Statement
To promote the economic well-being and quality of life for the Cocoa Beach area through the development and execution of well-planned travel and tourism sales and marketing strategies.

· Each year, more than 10,000 visitors walk through our door

· Visitors are greeted by volunteers and staff that promote your business directly

· Each year, the CVB creates and prints 175,000 visitor guides for distribution promoting your business. Distribution of these guides includes the following counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Broward, Dade, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, and Volusia

· Each year, more than 250,000 people visit the CVB’s website www.visitcocoabeach.com looking for information on where to stay, play, dine, and shop.

· As a member, receive a FREE listing in our annual visitor guide

· As a member, receive a FREE listing on our website www.visitcocoabeach.com and link to your website

· As a member, receive FREE space to display your brochure or rack card at our Tourist Information Center which is open 362 days a year from 9am – 4pm.

· As a member, receive FREE e-commerce capabilities for attractions, shows and lodging.

Annual Fee
One to three employees $150.00 / four (4) employees or more $210.00 **(you must be a Chamber Partner to join the CVB)

Meeting Dates
Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Board of Directors meetings are held on the third Wednesday, of each month, at 9:00 a.m. at the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber Board Room. The meeting is open to all Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) members, and prospective members.
