Donations Needed for Humane Society’s Thrift Shops

COCOA, FL – The Central Brevard Humane Society’s (3) Molly Mutt Thrift Shops located in downtown Melbourne, Merritt Island and Rockledge are in need of donations. The donated items can be appliances, furniture, bed linens, holiday decorations, clothes, collectibles, tools, electronics, children’s toys, books, jewelry, home décor, and exercise equipment. Founded in 1952, the Central Brevard Humane Society (CBHS) is Brevard County's oldest established animal welfare organization. A “no kill for space” shelter, CBHS is dedicated to speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves. We educate the community on responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals, advocate for spaying/neutering to reduce the homeless pet population and provide the best quality care to Brevard's abandoned animals by placing them with responsible, caring owners in “forever” homes.

We service all of Brevard and are centrally located in downtown Cocoa Village only blocks from City Hall. We offer unmatched services beyond any other day care facility. We desperately need your help as we are in the process of renovations to further make our senior clients more comfortable.

1 Refrigerator

1 Commercial Coffee Maker

Matching vinyl table cloths – square and oblong – 2 dozen each

Tables or shelves for our kitchen area (can be wood or stainless steel)

Rags and towels – as many as we can collect

Shampoo, Conditioners, Baby Powder, Lotions, Nail Clippers, Cotton Balls

In kind cash donations are warmly accepted and appreciated to assist with our renovations.
